How to pick up our rental car...shuttle or taxi or another option?

Ok so here is our situation.
We are doing a split stay and we are driving to Legoland the day we are checking out of AKL. SO we will have all our luggage with us.
Do you think it would be easier for us to take a shuttle to the rental car place then come back to AKL to get our luggage OR get a taxi and put our luggage in there, go to the rental car place and continue on our way to Legoland?
How much do you think a taxi would cost from AKL to the rental car place?

Who are you using? If you are using Alamo/National from the CCC, they will pick you up. You can bring your luggage on the shuttle and pick up your car. As to the taxi, I have no idea since you did not say who you are renting from.

I'd go get the car first then come back to AKL to get the rest of the family and the luggage. AKL is sort of on the way from the CCC to LegoLand.

If you are doing a split stay you can have bell services at the AKL transfer your luggage to the Boardway for you.
You can call bell services and they will come your room and get the luggage or you can take it down to them. Tell them what resort to send the luggage to and they will tag it and transfer it for you.

We did this and it worked out great. When we checked into the second resort I called down to bell services and they quickly delivered the luggage to our room.

Then you can meet the shuttle drive for Alamo and be on your way to get your car. No need to lug that luggage with you.

Just an FYI... We rented from the CCC last week and when I called to confirm shuttle pickup I was told MAIN DRIVER ONLY! They would not take family, car seat, etc., so my advice is to plan to send one driver to get car and come back to AKL to get the fam!
