How to order Magic Band via COVID shut down

So there has been many posts about people being able to or not able to select magic bands in MDE due to COVID. Started a new post because wasn’t sure where it would fit best.

I discovered that if you (I) log in and go to the drop down for “my magic band and cards”, that it will not allow me to order a band.
BUT
If you (I) go to the drop down and select “my plans”, then scroll down slightly to where it says “choose magic band” you (I) can then order (Or decline) the standard color magic bands.

Confirmed it works for two others accounts too.
Give it a try if you were using the ”ordering and managing Magic band and Card” drop down previously and see if it works for you.
 
I just followed your steps and it's going to let me choose only the solid colors..... no themed bands. (I'm going to hold out to see if the themed bands come back..... we have a year to go now, so I have time)

I have a room only reservation for All Star Movies June 1st - June 7th but I also have reservations that were cancelled by Best Western Lake Buena Vista on my account for a couple weeks in May that have not come off. So I wonder if that has anything to do with it. I am not sure how to get those removed except to wait for the days to pass for them to go away

Yes, it probably does. I have a memorial day week trip that I was able to order magicbands today, but no option to order for my 2nd week of June trip.
 

Our trip is for September and yes it works, but I would rather wait and try and get the themed MB's.
 
UPDATE: I called the My Disney Experience help desk and they removed my cancelled Disney Springs Hotel reservations off my account and now I am able to order magic bands. :)
 
I have 3 trips planned this year (Aug, Oct, Nov) and the only trip it will allow me to order bands for that way is the first one. The other 2 trips have no indicators to order bands.
 
I check MDE - with my trip for May 2021 - There are plain free colored magic Bands you can order - no specialty ones for $10 though
I am not ordering bands until Jan or Feb 2021
Plenty of time for us to get them by April 2021 for our Easter baskets :)

Tried in 2 different browsers and Safari. Same blank page. This is for a trip next month. Help!

I just checked Chrome and Mozilla) and it is working fine, our trip is Sept. I see you said your trip is scheduled for next month, it fits all rumors that WDW will be cancelling all June reservations soon.
 
Thanks so much I just followed your instructions and was able to order 8 themed custom bands under My plans in MDE! They only had about 10 to choose from but I am happy! My trip is 8/23-8/30 2 rooms YC CL.
 
The buttons are back for me to place an order!! I did not do anything special, just accessed though Safari. There are a bunch of new designs I have not seen yet! I successfully placed an order. Good luck!
