How to modify a reservation

I have two studios booked at BCV over Christmas week. Just bought GFV and will do a split stay with first two nights at GFV. Is there a way to modify on line? If I call, can they modify without losing the reservation whole reservation? Just need to take one night off the beginning of the BCV stay.

MS can can modify reservations but you can't do it online. If you just need to drop a day at the beginning then there will be no need to cancel the whole reservation and rebook.

Are your VGF (GFV) points in the system yet? If so, I would go online and book those nights now. You can't use other resort points for a December reservation for VGF now, so you can't use the points from the modified BCV reservation.

In the member website, you can click on "help and contacts" in the upper right corner and then on the envelop icon on the right.
You'll be able to send an email to MS detailing your request. If you need something not time sensitive (like in your case) it's very convenient.
Writing the email allows you to easily add some details like how you would like to reallocate your points. I think this could lead to less mistakes.

I used this to modify and walk a reservation and worked very well. However I would not use it to make a booking since by the time they answer (a few hours) availability might be gone.

So you can't do any modifications online? I'm getting ready to book a 9 night trip. If I book the first week at 11 months, I'll have to call to add on the extra two nights?

You can only book or cancel an entire reservation online. To add 2 nights or cancel part of the reservation you have to call.

Kinda stinks that I can book a reservation on line but can't modify it without cancelling the whole reservation....
