How to make prince/princess names shirt from Pinterest?

I wanted to make something similar for DH & I but with a different font (I guess I can just type them up in word and print them on an iron on transfer? How else would you make this without doing an iron on transfer? I tried to do a freezer paper stencil earlier cutting on my silhouette but no luck. Is that what they did? Any other ways to do this? My DH wears an XL so I feel like it would take more than one transfer sheet to make it big enough for him.

Also, any ideas of what I could put on a shirt for my DS to match?
