How to id dis users

hi everyone


Does anyone else think it would be cool if members of this forum were to have a symbol on a t-shirt or a pin or baseball hat or something so that when we are in Disney or Florida in general we could spot other disf forum users, maybe even bumper stickers for cars home and abroad. maybe there is something like that available. I know there is meeting and things over there but something more casual would be nice too.

I would have thought the stereotypical DISer would have at least one of these features :
Bags under eyes from reading post til the early hours
Powerful/muscular index finger from the scroll button on the mouse
Stops midstride down main street to make notes for a trip report
Can quote the number of days before a PS reservation can be made for any Disney restaurant
Signs checks with a ; and ) at the end of their name

I do wonder whether we need T-shirts or is a government warning required (like they have on new cigarette packs)!

The standard DIS identification is a lime green ribbon tied somewhere about your person/belongings.

We tied them to our rucksacks last time we went and met an American DISer in the foyer of Cinderella's castle!

Yup! I usually have a bit of lime green ribbon just pinned to my bum bag or something

LOL didn't know about the lime green ribbon thing - but I have still got some tied to our luggage from our last trip so that I can identify it when it comes round the carousel!

Jumping on this thread, I do really think it would be nice to perhaps have a DIS t-shirt made up(I dont mind people knowing im a disaholic!!).

Could this be possible??, im sure DH could design one, failing that there must be somebody on here that can do something

So mods what do you think???.

great to hear there is a dis store so we can buy dis caps and t shirts. does it all have to be lime green, it will clash with my eyes,lol. Everyone should support the store and buy a few t shirts for going away so we can id other users and have a wee chat as we say in NI.

I assume the shipping costs for items from the DIS Store will be the usual rediculously large amounts charged by other US on-line stores for shipping to the UK (not to mention getting court by import duty, VAT and handling charges by the couriers if we spend more than £18

When I got off my train yesterday morning, there were three suitcases with Lime Green ribbons on, I looked round if I could see who thry belonged to but couldn't see any obvious targets!
