We are going to DL with my DH's brothers and sisters, spouses, kids and even my in laws, which makes our group about 30 people, believe it or not. We are all so excited to be together because we ALL love Disney but have never gone at the same time.

The question is, how do we make it succesful? We are wearing matching shirts(easier to find) and I'm even thinking of bringing a flag to hold up so the group can tag behind(ha,ha). We will be there on Sunday, August 11 and some of us on Monday, August 12th. The ages range from newborn to seniors with mostly teenagers and preteens in the middle. Has anyone done this before and what advice do you have? Thanks!!!

Hi Neighbor!

We had a group of 25 at DL in Nov 2005 for 4 nights with ages infants to seniors. I set up one dinner at Goofy's Kitchen for all of us on the third night and a time for us to get a picture in front of the Castle, otherwise everyone could do as they please. With the size of DL we were running into each other all the time which made it kind of fun.

Most evenings after the park closed you could find most of us enjoying the lobby at the GC and just visiting with each other.

Good luck and have a wonderful time!

Honestly with a party that big I'd suggest breaking up into smaller groups and meeting together for meals etc......waiting for fellow group members to finish rides alone would waste A LOT of time.....JMHO:goodvibes

How fun! You could all agree to do one ride all together (like IASW), then split up and meet for lunch or dinner. :)

I agree with breaking the groups up. Just waiting in line from beginning of your group to the end of your group will take forever. Maybe make plans for the whole group to do the Jungle Cruise, Pirates, IASW together. The rides that hold alot of people at one time. Then split up into age appropriate teams.
Have agreat time!!!

I personally enjoy doing DLR with small groups. It makes it easier to decide what to do. I can't imagine being in the parks with that many people in my group!. I hope you have a good time though.
