Just wanted to know what you folks have done when wanting to get food for your unit and did not rent a car for your trip.

Thanks.

I have taken a Cab before. It worked out great!

Others have ordered thru the various on-line grocery delivery sites, and have apparently had good luck with them.

We have done the stop on the way in via a towncar.

Next time we are considering using www.wegoshop.com....but I may pack the non-perishibles and buy milk and eggs and bread at the resort.....I have notes from last time that most of this was within the realm of reasonable (or at least worth not taking time for a stop or cab fare). We don't get much however.

We started using wegoshop on our last trip. We didn't have enough good things to say about them. Outstanding, friendly service at grocery store prices (plus a small fee and tip). It was worth it for us and we plan on using them again.

Check out this (Link) for lots of information.

I'm planning on using wego our next trip after all the great reports on these boards...

Which resort are you staying at? There is a Hess Station across the street from Boardwalk that has a convenience store with reasonable prices. If you are flying in, you could use a towncar service that has a free grocery stop.

Not only do the prices look cheap, but...seriously...who wants to spend time on their vacation shopping for groceries?

When my dd gets older, and we actually have a vacation w/o a tour of the hospital....this would definitely be on my list!!!

We also took a towncar from the airport and stopped, he knew just where to go. :) Got a few things and a cheap cooler that we left at the resort by the ice machine when we checked out. :)

Now that Disney will be providing free transportation for resort guests as of May 5th, I think we are going to try Wegoshop. Although I love Tiffany town car service, I'd rather spend the money we save on the delivery fee and tip for wegoshop. Although I can't rule out taking down cereal, etc. Old habits die hard.

PoP Century food court has very reasonable prices on milk and other grocery items. Nice selection and much cheaper than I have seen at other Deluxe resort shops.
I purchased a box of entemanns donuts there that were priced as stamped and not marked up. If I had known about PC I would not have went offsite to get groceries the second time.
