How to get to the FRONT of Epcot from Disney boardwalk Villas

I NEED TO BE AT THE FRONT OF EPCOT(the main entrance) at 8:45am. How is that possible if I'm staying at the Disney Boardwalk Villas? (If there is no Disney bus that takes people directly there?) I can't take the international gateway walking entrance because that will only take me to the back of Epcot and I don't think I could get there by transferring in anyway because the buses start 60 minutes before Epcot opens and I don't think that would give me enough time to get to the main entrance of epcot.... So any ideas or suggestions?

Are you doing a tour? You could call 1-407-939-7529 and ask what other Epcot-area guests do. You could explain first to the CM at the International Gateway and then any tmyou encounter walking from there to Future World what you're trying to do and why. Or you could take a taxi.

Nope. Unless it's an EMH morning, and you have park passes, they won't let you in. Yes, if you have an ADR at Akershus you can go in, but that will be on a list....you can't walk through the entire park.
Take a cab. That's going to be your best bet.

Why are you yelling? (All Caps is considered yelling)
We had a Segway Tour a few years ago that we needed to check in to at 8:30. They have a tour list, like the ADR list and they will let you in early through the International Gateway.
However, we took a cab. As Goofy said easy peasy

The problem is that they aren't heading to a point within Epcot...they meet up outside the front entrance. With the Segway tour, you meet inside the park.
Some have said they have been able to get in via the IG....I guess it depends on who is there. I would take a cab vs walking to the IG and turned away.

Yes I agree. But on another occasion we did a Flower & Garden Festival Tour that met at Guest Relations outside the Front Entrance. Because I was confused :rotfl: we walked through the IG. We simply went out the exit, as everyone else was entering, and met our tour. It worked fine.

And some have had that experience. But I don't want anyone to make the assumption that it will always be the case. I have been told I couldn't enter via the IG in order to get to the front of the park! So, people need to check, when they get there, and find out what the situation is. Believe me.....it seems that different CMs give different answers to the same question.

I don't want anyone to be mislead either.
I think if you need to be at the front of Epcot, outside the entrance, the best bet is a taxi

But did you have a park ticket valid for epcot admission that day?

Yes. If that was the question, I totally missed it. Sorry.
You have to have a ticket to walk through Epcot from the International Gateway. We needed a ticket for each of the tours we took, so I never even thought of that aspect.

Years ago I was staying at BC and took Backstage Magic Tour. I wound up buying an AP but asked the procedure. I was told guests are either escorted through EPCOT or given a taxi voucher.

Call the tour number and ask. Write down date, time and CM name. Last Friday I spoke to ms Jones in the tour office. She told me to use this gate and I wont need to use ticket. That sounds better then saying a poster on the internet said its OK.

Sure wish that had been the case when I did the Yuletide Fantasy Tour years ago. I was staying at BWVs....and when I booked the tour, I was told I would have to find transportation to the front gate, probably a cab would be best. I asked if I would be allowed to enter via the IG....my answer? "Not if the park isn't open yet. If it's open you can do it.'' I mentioned that it was an EMH morning...the CM said 'Well, you are certainly on top of things. You'll be fine then.' And I was. But if it hadn't been an EMH morning, according to that person, I would have had to find a way to get there other than through the park. Sure would be nice if there was a set policy and all CMs read from the same manual.
