My DH and I have ADR's for the Flying Fish one night, and we will be coming from the Wilderness Lodge. We have never been to the Boardwalk area before, so I'm not sure what is the best way to get there, and also, how to get back to the WL that night after dinner.

Can anyone help? Thanks!! :goodvibes

Unfortunately, there is no direct transportation between resorts.

So, you will have to get to a park and transfer to a Boardwalk bus.

From the WL, you could take the boat over to MK, then transfer to the Boardwalk bus. Or, you could take a bus to any park or DD, then transfer to a Boardwalk bus.

After dinner, you'll have to get to a park and transfer to a WL bus.

At night, after dinner, we usually find that it's much easier to just grab a cab outside the Boardwalk resort. It will cost you around $10.

I suggest taking a bus from WL to MGM - and take the Boardwalk boat from MGM.

If you don't mind walking (and you can park hop) you could take bus to TTC then monorail to Epcot and stroll thru Epcot and over to the Boardwalk. If timing is right you could catch Illuminations on the way back.

Not meaning to confuse the situation but just throwing
in a couple options.
We have stayed at WL several times.

One as another poster suggested is to take the bus to TTC then monorail to Epcot and walk through. Allow an hour. Or in this same regard, take the boat to MK, catch the monorail from there. This seems a little faster to me but still allow an hr. BTW, you an catch the boat at International Gateway to BW. This is where you will walk through at World Showcase to get to the BW area. If the boat isnt there just keep walking, you will beat it. If you see the boat at the dock or see it coming, wait, you wont beat it to the BW, unless you run :teeth: The IG is located between France just across the bridge, and UK. Make sure to walk towards Canada as you stroll through Epcot, otherwise it turns in to quite the hike :moped:

Or you can catch bus to MGM then take boat to BW. You will make 2 stops along the way. One at Swan/Dolphin, then BC before arriving at BW. Allow 1hr 15 mins for this.

As for BW, it is a cool place to wind down the night. Several entertainers perform on the walk while there. We spend at least one night over there each trip. Be sure to check out the Bakery and the ESPN club. You can peek into the ESPN club through its arcade thats just to the right of the entrance.

Have fun!!

Taxi home would be my vote. Then I'd plan my day so that I was spending the afternoon strolling through the World Showcase - you can walk out the international gateway and be at the Flying Fish in less than ten minutes.

We stay at the Boardwalk Villas and often walk through Epcot on the way back to the resort. We get in one FW attractions, sometimes pick up a Fastpass for after dinner, and see a country. It is a longish walk, but we manage to get a lot of Epcot done in little peices - you will need to have a park hopper to do this.

Take the bus to MGM/STUDIOS then it's a nice stroll to the Boardwalk. Going back, if the Parks are closed means a transfer at DD but it's no biggie and after a big FF meal you don't want to get to bed too early anyway!

There isn't a bus from the WL to TTC anymore.

I would take the MGM bus from the WL and then the boat from MGM to the Boardwalk.

According to what time dinner is over you could take the boat back to MGM and bus to WL. If you wanted to walk through EPCOT and it is still open, then take the bus to WL from EPCOT. To not walk so much, take a bus from the Boardwalk to DTD and then to WL.
