How to get to the airport ??? Flying out of Milwaukee...

We flew out of Mitchell in April and did a Park & Fly at the Country Inn and Suites, and then shuttled over & back. There are quite a few hotels in the area that do it and are reasonable. Just ask if they have a secured lot.

Does the Country Inn have a secure lot? I'm guessing yes since you used them, but I just wanted to be sure :thumbsup2

Thanks to everyone (except tatooed goofy) for your responses! I will definitely look into all these and see which is the most cost effective! I appreciate all your help!

This is a really good idea! I will have to start checking prices now! Thanks! Us RN's are always thinking :) ...unlike teachers :teacher: who stop using their brains once summer vacation starts...(jab to my SIL tatooed goofy!)

Okay, now you have crushed me. You are supposed to be nice to your family.....especially SIL who help you. At least I was smart enough to get free dining while I am there. What can you say?????? That way, I don't have to worry about paying parking at the airport. See.....my brain is NOT on vacation yet, I emphasize yet! :woohoo:

We just flew out of Milwaukee and we just had someome drive our vehicle and drop us off. So I am no help. :) Enjoy your vacation!

New Berlin is where I grew up and I'm also an RN :thumbsup2 !

I forgot the best way we have found. Go the day before to MKE rent a car and drop off the next day when you go on your flight. Do the reverse on the way home.

don't quote me but I believe Milwaukee Limo is a Van service. Their link is found on the airports web site.
So, I was searching for prices on rental cars that would be big enough to haul my family to the airport and all the full-size cars were at least $40. I decided to try priceline and offer $25...well, Avis accepted my price so now my DH has to pick-up our rental the night before and we drop it off when we arrive for our flight! What a great idea...and so much less expensive than the shuttle services and leaving our car on the lot for 11 days!

Whoo hooo! Thanks again for this advice! I never would have thought of doing this! Now we can pack up the car the night before and just throw 2 sleepy kids in - and not have to bug family for a ride at 5AM on a Monday!

The average, no discount code cost of an Avis rental is $95.33 and I am paying $37.83 w/ tax. Whooo hoooo!
