Are the busses still running? Or is it ONLY skyliner? the dates will be end of october.

Basically we are staying at AoA and we CANNOT miss out of RotR so tell me what to do!!! Thanks!!!!!!

so you think as long as we are "first" in line for the skyliner thats the best play for rope dropping? not literally first but the first few groups. really only need to worry too much about it one time.

we have 30 minute early access for staying on property so what time do you think we would need to arrive at the skyliner in order to be close enough to the front of the line when it starts running? what time do people start showing up in line in the morn? pretty freaking early?!

My stay is in November, so I don't have first hand knowledge, but this is how I've heard it's done:

You want to show up early at the Pop/AoA station. Everyone will have differing opinions, but I'd say the earlier the better. Perhaps 60 minutes before the planned start of the Skyliner (which itself is at least 1 hour before opening). The reason for this is that you will need to join the line at CBR for DHS. From what I read, they will take groups from the front of the Pop/AoA line and add them to the front of the queue to DHS, along with those at the front of the line of those staying at CBR. So, sorta like a zipper, one group from AoA/Pop, one group from CBR. It's not exactly like that, but close.

However, at some point, the CMs stop doing this and send everyone coming off the AoA/Pop line and sends them to the end of the CBR line. If it were me, I'd want to make sure I was in those first groups to the hub to make sure I wouldn't have to go to the end of the CBR line.

Now, I know this is how they were doing things this past summer, so things may have certainly changed.

Bear in mind that in the few days since ROTR has had a standby queue, the waits have been much lower as the day goes on. It got as low as 35 minutes yesterday. It’ll start high at rope drop and then drastically decrease throughout the day. YMMV.

having to get off mid-ride and go to the back of the line when you get to CBR is ridiculous. wow. that would be really frustrating

It's not mid-ride. The Skyliner has three lines, all of which share the Caribbean Beach hub. Coming from Pop/AOA, you have to get off at Caribbean Beach regardless of whether you're headed to DHS or EPCOT (via Riviera), etc.

Someone that has been there may be able to provide additional context but I don’t believe the morning lines at CBR are as bad as they were after the COVID reopening since they are doing multiple parties per gondola and they no longer require entry to the park to get a boarding group, so perhaps fewer are rope dropping. (I know RotR is now standby, just noting that this added to morning traffic to DHS).
However, with the recent low crowds, we’ve yet to see how the 30 min early entry for resort guests add to the Skyliner lines under normal crowd levels.

Nonetheless, I wouldn’t sweat having to get into the back of the line at CBR, even if the wait is 20 or so minutes, you’ll still be at the park before the Early Entry starts and before the general public is allowed in. You’ll either wait in the Skyliner line or wait in the holding areas after the tap-in points at DHS.
