How to get to MK prior to park opening?

Hi, All! My daughter has an 8:30 am BBB appointment on a day that MK opens at 9. I'd like to make sure to arrive and be able to check in before 8:30. I think that means we should be to MK no later than 8 am.

We are staying on property and don't have a car. In doing a bit of research, I believe that the buses will not start running to MK until 1 hour prior to opening - so at 8.

Any advice on the best way to get to MK that early in the morning? If we take a taxi, will it take us right up to the gates? Well, I know not right up to the gates but the general area where the buses drop off/pick up? I've only ever arrived and left MK via bus.

The buses actually start running around 6:30. They're just not as frequent, and from some resorts may make more stops. If you allow 45 minutes from the resort bus stop, you should be OK.

Your will definitly will be fine. We have 8am ADRs before park opening all the time and the buses never fail us.

For an 8:30 BBB, I would be out at the bus stop, for MK, by 7:00. As noted, the buses start running at about 6:30. And they don't run as frequently as regular buses do. So, if you get there at 7 and the bus is driving away, you may have to wait until close to 7:30 for the next one. But, that will still get you to MK on time.

IF you decide to take a cab...plan on leaving the resort by 7:45. You can be dropped at the CR...then you can walk over to MK..takes less than 10 mins.
