How to get to Islands of Adventure?

We're staying at POR and will be spending most of our time at Disney. Would like to do one day at Islands of Adventure. What's the most cost effective way to get there and back? We are 4 adults and 5 kids.

You can get a shuttle through Mears...not sure about the cost. Or you can reserve a towncar service or taxi. If I remember correctly, the towncars charge around $50 for a r/t, but I don't think they can fit you all in one towncar, so you would need to either book two or get a stretch.
