We have an 8:15 breakfast ressie at 1900 Park Fare in GF for DS's birthday. We are staying at the WL... so what is the best way to get to the GF from the WL that early in the morning (we will not have a car as we are doing ME from the airport and back)...??????????

Well, since buses dont run between resorts, you could take a boat to the CR,
and then take the monorail to the GF.:thumbsup2

Wen are staying @ WL in April and have and ADR @ 1900 @8:30 my plan for our transportation is:
Boat to Contemorary and then take the monorail to GF.
I am planing for 15-20 for the boat trip and then 10 min to get upto the monrail platform and 10 trip to GF.
So I am estimating my total travel time will be aprox 45 minutes. We will probably give us an hour travel as that is my normal We enjoy to walk around and see the resorts. We always check in as soon as we arrive and really more time than not even if we are early we will have no more than a 5 min wait. I will say that if you are late your ADR may have been given away to somebody in stand-by. So to be sure alway be early. Over Christmas we did see people show up 15 min late due to transportation and they would not hold there ADR and had given it to a walk up....

Thank you!! I did not know if the boats would be running this early. Does anyone know when the first boat departs WL in the am???

I believe the first boat to the CR starts at 7:00 or it may be 6:45am. I know it def. runs by 7:00 am. We use it a lot for early reservations at CR/GF/POLY. You will make it in plenty of time if you get to the boat area by 7:00. Then take the boat to the CR and head to the monorail. It's a fun ride too. My kids love it.

Thank you soooo much! This makes me feel so much better!! I may even add Ohana to our ressies knowing this!! THANK YOU!:)

I thought I read somewhere (Allears?) that WL shares a bus with the Poly and GF for DTD. Its worth asking about.

I recommend taking a taxi. Very quick, easy and cheap. Worth spending a little money for ease and relaxation.

You have a couple of other choices- you can do what has been suggested above. You can also take a boat to the MK and then move to the GF boat dock at the MK and take the boat to the GF. And as mentioned above many times WL will be sharing buses with GF and you may be able to get on the bus to any theme park and get a ride to the GF- I would definately check with the bus driver to make sure they are going to the GF first as this doesn't always happen.

Methods
. . . boat to CR, monorail to GF
. . . boat to MK, boat to GF
. . . bus to MK (bus usually stops first at GF)
. . . taxi
