Hi Everyone - I'm trying to figure out if Fantasia Gardens is worth the time and effort. I hear it's across the street from the Swan. If we took a bus to the Swan, how do we actually get "across the street"? Are there lights to cross at or is it more like across the parking lot? TIA !!!

You can take bus to the Swan. Enter the front of the Swan and follow through out the back door of the Swan. Make a left and walk towards the sandy beach that is easily seen from the back entrance. When you get to the beach area, keep going straight on the walking path until you reach the roadway. Fantasia is right across the street. There are no stop lights, so look twice before you cross.

I'm pretty sure that there is a crosswalk

Yup.

And, below is the crosswalk, zoomed-in tighter. It's not a very busy intersection.

There is a crosswalk - no light, but it's easy to cross. We go there often. In fact, we were just there last week. You can also take a boat to Swan / Dolphin from DHS or back entrance of EPCOT. You can take bus to DHS then go to boat launch...Swan / Dolphin is first stop. If you're in EPCOT you go to entrance by International Gateway (between England and France) and take boat from there. It's a longer boat ride as Swan / Dolphin is 3rd stop. It's an easy walk from the boat launch. The course opens at 10. It can get crowded. We find that getting there when it opens is best as there's not a wait...maybe one or 2 groups ahead of you depending upon when you get there. Also there's not much shade on the course so it can get hot there mid day. We always enjoy golfing there. And when you're done you can walk back to boat launch and head over to EPCOT, DHS or Boardwalk.

You aren't crossing world drive. You cross the road to get to yacht and beach clubs so it's not a super busy/scary road to cross.

yes easy walk from swan! we have stayed at bwv and bcvthe last 3 years and took time to walk over and golf! easy and fun!

We actually drove there this past November. But while we were there we walked over to check out the swan/dolphin for possible future trips. It was really close and easy to cross.

We think its worth it. We do it just about every trip. DD made a hole-in-one when she was 8 years old and has been hooked ever since (now 25). Going in September and still on our priority list.

Wow - we have stayed at the Dolphin a few times - never knew mini-golf was close by
I would only cross the road in daylight - not in the dark or dusk
Or bring a flashlight with you.
