We are staying at POFQ next May.
Our DS wants to play golf at Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf Course (early morning tee time).
Is Uber/Lyft going to be his quickest choice for getting to the golf course?

I will confirm the top 2 posts...dont pay for uber. You tell bellhop that your golfing and have a reservation. I do this the night before and let them know what time you would like to be there. Not your tee off time,,but time before, so you can hit the range or just chill. LBV also has a nice quick service with bacon and egg sandwich to start the day off,,and reasonable price.
Enjoy the round.
If he is playing another round there or one of the other courses, he can leave his clubs and they will take them to next course the next day.
Also to get back, instead of taxi, he can jump on the watercraft at SSR, goto DS and watercraft back to POR

Years ago, when you checked into your resort they would send your golf clubs to the course you're going to play at. Don't know if they still do that.

They have always paid taxi fare to and from the course.

You would have to budget at least 1 hour prior to tee time for ride share standby and travel. It is your more convenient (but costly) option, whether it’s a regular rideshare or a Minnie Van.

If you do want to save the cost of a rideshare, you can take the Sassagoula River Cruise from POFQ to Disney Springs and then connect from Disney Springs to Saratoga Springs. It would require an additional walk through Saratoga Springs and you will need to add an extra half hour to accommodate for cruise standby. Obviously, that wouldn’t be your quickest due to the slow nature of the boats.

As we have already posted, the OP can get a FREE taxi ride between their resort and the golf course. No need to pay for a rideshare or take an unnecessarily long boat trip.

I'm really glad I read this today. We're headed to OKW, and DH plans to golf 3-4 days. However, he won't rent a car, as he usually does. So he just tells the front desk/bell services the night before when he wants to go? I agree-he likes to be there at least an hour or so before tee-off to warm up.
