How to get to AK around 8:00am from All Star Music marathon morning?

My dad is trying to get to AK around 8:00am during the marathon. The only option we've come up with is for him to drive to Epcot by 5:00 (or take the bus - we don't care if we have a car at Epcot or not) and then take the monorail to Ticket and Trans and then a bus to AK. I feel like there should be a better way to do this that won't require him to leave that early. Any suggestions?

There should be a bus leaving that early from the hotel to get to AK for 8am breakfast reservation.
