Hi
I wasn't sure which forum to post this on. I am hoping someone here can help with this question.

What is the best way to get to a beach (Atlantic side) from the Orlando area? It looks like Cocoa beach is the closest. Is that a nice beach? It would just be for the day and I don't want to rent a car. Is there a bus or shuttle that would go to that area?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks

From Disney....

I-4 East will take you to Daytona Beach. You will need to take one of the Daytona exits off I-4 in order to actually reach the beachs.

SR 528 East (The Beach Line) will take you to Titusville / Cocoa.

Highway 192 will take you to Melbourne Beach. Keep in mind that 192 is pretty congested with businesses and traffic lights until you get past St Cloud (approx 17 miles) and then it opens up.

Unfortunately, I dont know of any busses or shuttles heading to any of the beaches. Maybe someone else has seen or used one.

Hope this helps.
