How to get the room I want at Wilderness Lodge?

With all the talk of Rosie getting a room, it reminded me of one of the questions I had!

I asked this question on another DIS board, and no one in normal land really understands my question. Maybe you all will understand what I am asking and be able to help? The first time my lovely and I stayed at WL, we got the best room. It was courtyard view, 3rd floor up. We could hear the music, loved sitting on our balcony, etc. We loved it.

When I made the res. the next time, I asked for that room in courtyard view (we paid for courtyard view) again and they put us over in a different section. I asked them to switch us to the area I really meant and they moved us to an icky room in the section we wanted.

Anyway- short version of my holy- cow- long- winded question: How do we get the room we want? We are going in Sept. I have heard people say to call ahead of time and that didn't work since that is what I tried the 2nd time we stayed there. Any ideas? I know they can't guarantee a specific room but I would at least like to be in the general area of where I love it the most there. Thanks for the help!
