How to get the most out of free counter service

Columbia Harbor House in MK - Hands down our favorite quick dine (with free DDP). Delicious food and we liked the more 'restaurant' setting, especially if you bring your food upstairs.

One of our favorite "sit down" quick meals is the food court at POFQ for a hot dinner (not sandwiches). Last week I had the the combo meal of Chicken and Rib Combo, mashed potatoes, corn, and a piece of cornbread. It came with a 20 oz bottled drink and desert. I had the ice cream and they gave me two of the biggest scoops of ice cream I ever saw. This meal could easily feed two people. The cost if you were paying out of pocket was $14.19 you'd then pay extra for the soda and ice cream. You could easily go $20 for dinner there. Can't beat using a counter service there.

However, I agree, eat where you enjoy the food not just based on the biggest bang all the time.

I'd stay away from the abc commisary in HS...it's pretty bad..... there;s an outdoor area near TOT that's got better options for cs......

I had a steak at Coronado Springs that was paid for with my qsdp. It was amazingly delicious. Definitely a great value.

We love the wolfgang Puck express at DTD...Huge pizzas and meal options and you can easily feed 4 people with only 2 or 3 credits.

you can look up the menues of each place that has counter service and see what they have to offer ; )

Yes, but ABC has something no other quick service has. My son works there LOL

In terms of the beverage on the quick service dining plan, is the coke only a fountain drink? Could you get a bottle of coke or even a bottle of water for your beverage option? What other beverages are included with the QSDP?

In DHS I'd go with starring rolls too. We ate there in September and it was a delicious sandwich on nice fresh bread. And for dessert they have great cupcakes and pastries.

As far as drinks go, most places you could get lemonade or iced tea, or a bottled beverage such as water or juice.
