How to get rid of stink bugs?

I saw the thread on ladybugs and it reminded me that our stink bugs will soon start returning.

Does anyone have any advice on getting rid of them? Our exterminator told us that there does not seem to be anything that is effective to eliminate them.

They seem to really like our bedroom--I could deal with them anywhere but in the bedroom.

Just recently, I was pulling clothes out of the dryer and noticed something moving in the lint collector. As I looked closer I realized it was a stink bug. This really freaked me out. Any advice is appreciated.

I've heard not to squash them 'cause the scent just attracts more to their location.

Eat them! Sorry I couldn't resist. We've got some of those things too. DS has a friend over, and he said he was eating a candy bar and dropped a couple of pieces of chocolate, so he picked them up and ate them - only the third piece was a stink bug! He didn't realize until it was too late. All he spit out was a wing. He said they taste like they smell, in case anyone wondered.

But seriously, we don't have too many and they're easy to catch, fortunately. I either suck them up with the vacuum or catch them with a tissue and flush 'em. I'll be interested to hear if anyone knows a way to get rid of them, because I've never heard of anything.

We get them at work. Same information from the exterminator - nothing they use is effect. Our maintainence department sucks them up with the wet/dry vac.
