Help! DH is out of town & I've been doing a little more surfing than usual - following the storm in Florida & trying to decide on a trip to Florida later this month. I've been bombarded with Pop Ups. Now Kerry's campaign has joined the deluge. What do I do to turn these off (yes - if Bush sends me one I still want to turn them off)?

If you find a way, let me know. I've been completely overrun by pop ups in the last couple weeks. Even the pop up blocker hasn't helped.

Change your browser to Mozilla or Opera - they have built in pop-up blockers. Beautiful!

Thanks, I'm going to try it.:D

I use Earthlink and it has a popup blocker. The newest download of McAfee also blocks popups, but allows them temporarily if you choose.

I downloaded the google toolbar a long time ago and almost never get pop ups.

This was exactly what I was going to suggest. The great thing about the google bar is that you can enable and disable the pop ups so simply because they are right there. There is no need to go back into your security system each time.

If you go to google, it is offered at the bottom of the page.
