how to get picture of character

can anyone tell me how you guys are getting the pictures of your characters on here? i know its something like.. ctrl print screen or something but i can't get it to work. i dont nec. need to know how to get it on the dis boards i just want to know how to get it off of vmk into say word to be able to print it out and actually be big enough to see. thanks!

Hi!
Click control and print screen simultaneously.
Open "Paint"
Right click and paste to Paint.
save as a .jpg
Edit to crop
Upload to a photo site
Make sure it's the right size!
