How to get from Sanford Airport To Disney Resort???

Hi, I'm asking for my friend. She booked tickets to Orlando from PA but did not realize it isn't the International airport... she is flying into Sanford and Disney doesn't go to Sanford (as 99.99 percent of you already know )

Now she has no idea how to get to her resort from that airport. Does anyone has suggestions and/or pricing on what she may be able to do??

She's so upset and this is her first trip to Disney...her kids first trip too! I'd hate for this to be what they remember!!

Basically she has two choices...rent a car, or hire a car service. A car service will run about $180-200 r/t. Sanford is further out than MCO...takes about 45-50 mins to get to WDW from there.....and there isn't nearly as much need, so costs are higher for car services.

The cheapest way would be to rent a car for a day/one way pickup at the airport and return at WDW. Reverse the process the day you leave.

Either renting a car for your entire trip or using a car service is a lot easier.

Sanford is at least twice the distance from WDW as MCO. Makes sense the car service charge about twice the rate.
