How to get free parking first day

We bought tickets from undercover tourist and are planning on upgrading to an AP. One of them will be for the free parking. How do we go about getting the free parking on the first day since we won’t have upgraded yet? We are staying offsite.

The person who's ticket is being upgraded can be dropped off...upgrade and then be picked up and park...if dropped off at celebrity circle puts you right near the guest service's outside studio side....only draw back is security does come by often to make sure your not parked there so you will have to drive around the grounds a couple times.
