We're planning to head to Orlando for Feb vacation this year and plan to spend one night onsite to access all the perks. (We'll probably just take an overnight night bag and double book with out "Base" hotel. So when should I start looking for rates and what websites, or nesletter or whatever should I be checking out. I figure I can book something and can alsways cancel if it's not going to work. Also what would be considered a "good" rate (least expensive) Thanks.

Call Loews and ask if the Entertainmnet Rate, Fan Club Rate or AAA rates are available for the date you want. The Entertainment rate is usually the cheapest. You would then need to buy the entertainment book. There are people on these boards who could help you get a Fan Club Card if that rate is available.

Ya know, I was online last night and was getting NO AVAILABILITY AT ALL for any dates during Feb vacation week. Can that be possible? I tried the loews site, expedia and travelocity. Surely they can't be booked up already.

2 weeks ago I booked 3 nights for the middle of Jan. 2003. We decided to stay a night or 2 more. I called reservations and I couldn't get any more nights. They were fully booked. I thought it was crazy too.
