How to get around when you don't rent a car

......for going to get groceries......
we are staying at our timeshare at disney boardwalk villas and with a kitchen, we would like to got out to shop at some point.......we would utilize the 1/2 hour shopping for groceries when we book with tiffany towncar, but we arrive at 8am and our room will not be ready until 4pm so things like milk and cheese will spoil.........where is the closest, cheapest place to shop where I can get to via using a cab or something else affordable

BW Bell Services will keep your perishables cold, just let them know which packages have to be put in their refrigerator. There is a store on the Boardwalk with basic groceries. They are expensive but unless you are buying alot the difference would be less than a cab.
