Is there a way to get around Costco's 4 night maximum stay at DLH? I was thinking of booking a 2 night stay and then have DH book a seperate 4 night stay. Has anyone ever done that? Seems like we would get double the benefits...?

I had to get another night separately.... they wouldnt budge on the 4 night limit

Did they say why?

Just a few months ago we were looking at packages, and I swear I looked at a 5 night one at PP....

Ooh maybe it's in preparation for the future 4th night free promo?

All that said, if I really wanted to stay at a resort that many days, I wouldn't do separate packages. The extras don't seem to be something you need more than once, when you're looking at one 4 day hopper and one 2 day hopper, you're adding those together and you maybe should look at just getting one package and upgrading to an AP anyway...

Though having the two "free" (included in the cost) character breakfasts would be fun!

I wonder if AAA is doing the same thing? I can't find availability straight through disneyland.com in order to see if it's a disneyland thing...and can't remember my AAA info to log in and see if it's something there, too... weird!

editing...got into my AAA account, and they are allowing more than 4 days. Weird!

Well I must have been hallucinating back in February. Just called and she said that it's been that way for the 3 years she has worked there, so...I'm just crazy. :)

I'm happy to check for you (DS is happily watching Cars), but I need to know how many people, what dates, and how long. I *think* they only do packages, so if you don't need tickets (if you do, how many days in the park, and what ages), it might not be what you need.

So you made youre reservations thru Costco for 4 nights and then made a single night res. at the same hotel? Did you have to check out and check back into your room?

The price thru costco is the same price as booking through Disney travel. HOWEVER, everyone in your party gets a character breakfast and you get one $25 gift card per reservation (one for the group, not one per person). You also get all the other perks you would get if you booked through disneytravel.
