I'll be taking my 78 y/o mom to WDW Sept 1st-8th (will turn 79 y/o on Sept 9th). I would like to take her over to Universal for one day, just because she has never been and would like to just experience the park while I ride rides. She won't be riding anything, but wants to just look around. She'll have an ECV that we are renting from Apple Scooters. I normally just take the $18.00 Mears shared van over to Universal. Would we be able to do that with her ECV? Do they have shared vans that accommodate an ECV?

I googled "mears shuttle ECV" and found countless discussions of this topic online, and a few of them seemed to indicate that yes, they do have accessible vans in their fleet. But you may have to call them directly to find out 100% for sure if they can run an accessible one on the route you want.

Yes, Mears has special vans for ECVs I've used them and they are very, very nice about it. It has a lift in the back and accommodates the whole family. I was really impressed with the service since my experience with Mears on the regular vans was not so good. This was in 2005 but I'm sure they still have them. Call and find out. I made the reservation at the resort, it was at Pop Century. HTH :thumbsup2
