OK I know that this is kind of an gross question, but this smell is starting to drive me nuts!!!! I baby sit in my home and twice last week I had kids that threw up on my living room carpet, not much but enough. The carpet is only about 5 months old so I really do not want to have it professionally cleaned yet, I scrubbed the carpet a couple of time on the actual spots, but the smell is still lingering!!! Can someone please tell me if there is anything else I can do!!!

Thanks

Look in the pet section of your store and see if they have odor removers for carpets. That will probably work. You could also just try warm water and a clean rag to remove the residue causing the smell. They have those electric spot cleaners, Spot Bot I think, that would work as well.

I like Simple Solution, available at pet stores, pre mixed, for getting out odors. Vomit is organic material so it should work well on that.

Go to a pet store and get an odor remover, there are so many. The best ones are enzyme based that break down the organic matter. These are great for getting stains out of the mattress from the kids.
