Hi,
I've been researching Beaches Turks and Caicos and would really love to plan a trip there for either August or early November. Although it's an all inclusive, the prices are still high. Does anyone have any tips on how to get a good deal there?

I am also looking at the Atlantis or an NCL cruise out of NY, but I would Love to try Beaches! We have 2 DD's, 6 and 4.
Thanks!

Just returned from a week there. I'm not sure you will ever get a good deal there, that is Beach's signature resort. If you did find a deal on the resort itself, airfare into Provenciales will still be a killer - it was $1000 per person, round trip from Atlanta (only 2 hours away). It was wonderful though - so much better than the Beaches resorts in Jamaica.

Good luck with that! I think it cost us $10,000 when we were only a family of 4! Cruises out of NYC are a great deal off-season (9 of us went for a week for under $5000, balcony). Your youngest might be too short to use a lot of the stuff at Atlantis (my sister almost booked, and thankfully checked the height requirements).

Beaches T&C is one of our favorites! Although it is on the pricy side... make sure to work with a travel agent that is experienced in Beaches vacations. Ours always lets us know when new sales are about to start, and by traveling during low season, we are always able to get at least 50% off. Last time we had a wonderful beachfront 3 bedroom, and we got a discount of almost 12K by vacationing in May rather than April.

Good luck! Some of our best family memories have been made at Beaches... they really go above and beyond yo make your stay perfect! :goodvibes

Thanks for the input. I called Beaches about their 7th night free promotion and it was only on the more expensive categories. What I did learn, however, was that if they have a better sale after we book, we can get our price lowered if we call.

I totally agree, we paid $1100 each for Airfare when we went- there was only 1 non-stop per day and that was the price of it.

OP- question for you- do you plan on putting your kids into the daycare there?

Hi, I don't think they would even want to try it. My 6 year old doesn't even want to go the the summer camp in our town (which is right down the street from us). To be honest, I'd feel nervous about it, also. Why do you ask?

We love Beaches Resort, have been to Jamaica Negril & Boscobel :beach:

I would suggest Try flying from Miami if possible, in the past this has lower our airfare.

Their website post discounts for low season, and they offer a guarantee vacation in case of a hurricane (may till nov. This is why those months are low season).

December is probably one of the best months to go (up until a week before Christmas), it's the beginning of their summer season & their rates are still low.

We have never been to Atlantis & will probably hold off until the boys get a little bit older. I've also heard that it gets very expensive once you go there (meals, tips, etc), Beaches is in my opinion a better deal

WE went to Beaches Negril and hated it. There are better family friendly resorts for less! I spent 11k and had an AWFUL TIME. Never again!

This too is my dream vacation and i cant wait to take my family there. I keep playing with dates etc and did find 10 days Sept 21-Oct 1 including flights for $8800.00 which is part of their 50% off sale..............that is for 2 adults an 11 and 13 year old..............flying from Western Canada so i guess there are deals compared to their regular prices. Darn, wish i could go those dates as that sure beats the $15,000.00 quotes i normally get.

We have been to Beaches T&C a few times and it is a favorite as much as WDW. We don't mind the actual rate for the rooms as it is all inclusive and the food is great and we do enjoy the cocktails.... However it is the airfare that just kills us and has prevented us from return the last two years. Unfortunately with the way domestic fares have been going up we are looking at paying triple what we have paid in the past just to go to WDW, I don't think Beaches T&C is in our cards. Good luck finding a deal, those can usually be found, the airfare is another thing.:)

Signup online for their deals newsletter (or whatever they call it) on their website. We get mail and email about once a month with deals that they are running. Some of them are significant savings! The offers do not come so often as to be annoying and the season of deals is coming up.

I would signup on both Sandals and Beaches sites just to be sure. Owned by the same company, serving different markets, but sometimes they cross-pollinate their lists. Just a thought...

Are you open to other places? I ask because I just booked Dreams Cancun for clients of mine for $240 per night for a family of 4.....kids stay for free! It's a great property and all inclusive! This rate was good for dates in August! Let me know if you need help!

OP, just saw the ages of your kids in your OP. Because of the expense of Beaches, I'd wait until the kids are older, and can remember. Dd14 hates the fact that she went there when she was 4 (a family wedding), and has no memory of it (we also went to WDW that year, DH had a business trip, and she has no memory). She had a great time, but wasn't old enough to appreciate how overwhelmingly cool it was.

OP Here-Thanks so much for all your advice! We actually booked a trip to Beaches T & C for the end of August. We picked one of the pretty basic rooms in the Caribbean village. Still not a budget vacation, but it will be doable. I was lucky enough to find direct, non-stop Continental flights out of Newark, NJ for $448 plus tax/fees, so about $575 each, round trip. Ticket prices have already jumped $40 each, so I'm glad I booked it quickly. I kept playing around with dates and learned that the Sat. non stop flights were almost double the price! DH would have never agreed to that-so we're lucky-LOL!

I'll admit that my first choice (and my girls first choice) was Disney, but DH needs a break from Disney. Now I'm Super excited as we've never done an All Inclusive and haven't been to the Caribbean since our honeymoon 8 years ago.

Thanks again! :goodvibes

You might want to reconsider a room in the Caribbean Village. They are the oldest rooms of the resort, and in major need of a rehab. We had 3 rooms in the French Village and one in the Caribbean Village and the difference was unbelievable. The furniture was old, some broken, and the room had an awful musty smell. Our extended family only spent one night in that room before they could be moved to a room in the French Village. The rooms in the French Village are further away from the beach, but closer to the water park. The French Village room are newer, larger, and had better furniture. Have a great time, Beaches is a wonderful resort!

We stayed on Grace Bay a few years ago and the water in the Turks and Caicos is some of the prettiest shades I've ever seen in the Caribbean. Enjoy your trip!

The Caribbean village had a refurb that was completed about two years ago. It was completed just after the Italian Village was complete. We loved the refurbed rooms because they have the some of the best views of the bay for the lowest price. Either way I'm sure you'll love your stay. Definitely try the wood grilled pizza by the Iguana pool. The staff is great and if you get to know them by name they will always have your favorite ready for you before you even have to ask. Also make ressies for Kimonos as it can sell out each night. Have a great time.:):):)

Thanks for input. I really want to be closer to the beach, so that's why we picked the Caribbean Village. What year did you go?
