How to get a fan club card if our employer doesn't have them?

We are thinking about our 1st trip off Disney property and over to universal. However, I keep reading about these great rates but can't figure out how to get a card? Is there another way. DH's work doesn't have them. thanks

The Entertainment Card rate is usually better if they offer it for the dates you want. Anyone can buy it - www.entertainment.com You can call and ask for rates and make your ressies even if you don't have your card yet - just be sure and have it by the time you arrive.
