we need a vehicle that will seat 6 and hold a wheelchair for Presidents' week for Disney. the prices have been really high. Anyone have any suggestions to get a good deal?

When we went, it was WAAYY cheaper to rent two standard size cars than one minivan (or larger) vehicle.

You will have to pay double parking if you stay off-site though.

We booked through www.hotwire.com & ended up with Alamo. The transaction went smoothly, there were no holds placed on our debit card, & the car was great.

Good Luck!

Check back often on the searches for best deals closer to the trip after you do make a reservation. I found a great deal for an Uplander the week of our trip and cancelled the first ressie.

Sign up to for all the email specials, quick silver cards, etc. I was able to add a driver no extra cost, another time a free upgrade, they want to move the larger cars that are still waiting as the week gets closer.

I was having a hard time finding reasonable prices on a minivan for our March trip. Everything I priced out was $600 - $900! :scared1: Luckily, I found a code for Budget rental car on the transportation board.

Try using the following: code X474200 and coupon MUWZ023. The coupon will take an extra $25 off your rate when you return your vehicle. With these codes, I am now paying slightly over $300 (with taxes) for our 8 day trip this March.

Good luck!

Thank you so much for the codes!!! We had been pricing a mini van for a summer trip in Arizona and were seeing rates of $700-800. With the codes in the previous post, we just made a reservation for $450 total. I will keep checking each week but this is already much more affordable! Hwo does the coupon work? They just credit you the $25 at return?
Thanks again!

Thanks so much for this! Just yesterday I reserved through National for our March trip. Van for 8 days for $408 plus taxes, lowest I could find. With this code I got the same thing for $225 plus taxes, huge savings!

Yes, my understanding is that the $25 is just deducted when you return the car, and you do not need to physically show a coupon.

The first code is a travelocity code. Both the code and the coupon code are available to the general public.
