How to Drop off and pick up at Hollywood Studios

In May, I will be dropping off my 4 older teens at Hollywood Studios at opening time. What is the best and safest way to do so? Dropping them off at the gas station is not an option.
Should I just wait in line at the parking booths to enter or drop them off at the Swan/Dolphin to use the walkways over or is there another hotel or option even closer?
What about pick up?

Swan/dolphin is best bet if you don't want to wait at the parking toll booth to HS. S/D does not have a guard checking reservation, so you can go in and drop off no problem. I'd get them there 30 minutes before they want to scan into HS so they have time to walk. I think it can take 15-20 minutes, but some extra time doesn't hurt.

If you want to drop off directly at HS, you'll have to go into the normal parking lot, so wait at toll booths until they open, then tell them you're dropping off and leaving.
