Hi,
Today on our final day at the parks after using our 10 day ticket we decided to upgrade to an AP, so we can return at the end of the year and save a bit of money. (Saved us $748 off for our next trip, since we would be buying 10 day tickets again and he reimbursed the Memory maker and $20 for each day of parking) We live on the west coast, so we visit for long trips, 2-3 weeks at a time.
At guest relations the cast member told me when I asked about FP+ that as an AP holder I could book 60 days out, but it looks like he was incorrect. He gave me a little book/pamphlet as I was leaving with all of the information and when I got back to the room that is when I noticed it. That is a little frustrating that I was given wrong information! (We have a 3 bedroom timeshare, so we don't stay on site, so I thought this was going to be a great perk)
Also, another question I have is I read something about only being able to book 7 days of FP+ in a 30 day period. When I purchase a 10 day ticket I can book 10 days within a 14 day period. Only booking 7 days seems like a disadvantage to me compared to a 10 day ticket since we are planning on visiting the parks for 10 days in December, so for 3 days I won't be able to book FP+ until a week or so before? Am I understanding this correctly?
This posts seems a little negative, but I am actually super excited that we are now AP holders!!! I just am trying to figure it all out.
Thanks!!
