How to create a Disney Addict with Photos and Segway Goodness ***New 5/4***

That's was great... I'm glad you guys finished the quest... That's the dis way.... :)

my favorite trip report in a while! can't wait to read more! :sunny:

I'm really enjoying your TR, I can't believe you did all the stuff for the pin quest in one afternoon!

I love your report so far, and definitely want to see a pic of that illustrious pin!

DH and I are both WDW virgins, but I feel like I've already been between all the research I've done on the Dis and TGM. I hope that the magic that I've been feeling is as catchy with my husband as it seems to have been with yours. You even got him to take you back again this year! :cheer2: :wizard:

Okay peeps you win!! I had given up on writing my trip report because I thought no one was reading it. Thanks guys! You all have inspired me to finish.

Day 4-

Okay we left off with the ridiculous pin quest. We were definitely feeling good coming off of it and we were ready to tackle Magic Kingdom. Brian was really excited about coming here. We unfortunately had a knack of showing up too early to the parks. We would usually be in line waiting for the park to open at 8:00 or so. I am all for getting to the parks early because I really think it makes a difference. However too early is crazy. I am as inpatient about getting into the parks as most of the children there. Another bad thing is that there were so many people crowded between the tunnels under the bridge and the gate. You really couldn't move at all. I got a whiff of someone's underarm at one point. Ewwww!!!! It was way too close for my comfort. We were finally let in and it was chaos. I was walking slowly because of my ankle and I almost got trampled. It was scary. We were off to Tomorrowland first. We FP'ed Space Mountain because the line was already 20 minutes. We rode Buzz. I had studied the tips ahead of time. Brian always always wins at games. There are only a couple of things I can beat him at and shooting games are not one of them. I felt that there was an unfair advantage. I knew where all the high points were and he didn't. I told him the tips. I gave him the paper. Being a typical man he didn't listen or read the sheet and guess what I won!!!! It was 200,000 to 50,000. Yeah baby!! I so just beat you. He did that cool shrug off and acted as if it didn't matter. I just did the happy dance :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: .

We headed over to Toon Town to see some characters. We were standing next to the nicest lady and her daughter. The Magical Moment happened when the characters came to open Toon Town and Eeyore took the little girls hand. It was precious. The mother started tearing up as she was snapping pictures. I teared up because it truly was a sweet moment. We were one of the first groups in Mickey's House and had our pictures taken with him. We wandered over to the Main Tent with the different characters and got in line for Donald, Goofy and Pluto (I think). The Princess line was so long already. I couldn't believe it. We looked over to the Pooh and Friends line and noticed that it was empty. Brian has the biggest heart and thought that their feelings were going to be hurt if no one showed up. We decided to see Pooh instead. We didn't have to wait in line at all and got to share a lot of time with Pooh, Eeyore and Tigger. I got 3 kisses from Eeyore and 2 from Tigger. Brian was a little jealous I think! After leaving Toon Town we headed over the Adventureland.

We rode BTMRR and thought it was a lot of fun. The line was only 15 minutes at this point so we had a lot of fun. Afterwards we got FP for Splash Mountain. This is where we again saw people's tickets being left in the machine.

Educational Moment of the Day: Make sure you have your ticket and your FastPass!!!! We turned it into the CM and he says he gets about 20 of them a day turned into him. You don't want the headache of it all!!

We decided that we would ride Haunted Mansion before lunch. I love this ride. It is one of my favorites. I love everything about it. I saw the Hidden Mickey on the table. I told Brian about it and he told he I was cheating because I knew it was there. He is making us get a Hidden Mickey book for the next trip. (I think he just felt left out and wanted us to be on equal ground) Whatever it takes honey for you to keep coming back.

We ate lunch at the Harbor House (I think that is what it is called). It was good but really crowded. I had to stalk people for a table and I hate doing that. I hate standing over them with my tray and hoping they will take pity on me and get up. We finally found a table and then got dirty looks because we were at a table of 6 when there were only 2 of us. I can't help it people. I might be a considerate person but I am not getting up just so that your party can sit down especially when there are no other tables in the place. I just can't feel guilty. We were sitting and enjoying our lunch when all of a sudden I was hit by water in my face. I was shocked. This little boy at the table next to us threw his water bottle and water went everywhere. It was funny but I was wet and I hate being wet. We quickly got our things and left. I had enough of the crazy lunch people.

It was time for our Fast Pass for Splash Mountain. I was really excited about riding this. Brian loves Song of the South and we have been trying to get a copy of it for years. We entered the Fast Pass line when there was a 90 minute posted wait. We totally breezed by everyone. Brian felt sorry for these people. I didn't. I think you know what you are getting into when you see a 90 minute wait. It isn't like halfway through the line all the people will disappear and it will become a 15 minute line. I told him that I didn't feel sorry for me and he got mad at me. He told me I was being inconsiderate. I then proceeded to inform him that if it weren't for all the people not knowing what they were doing, we would have to wait in line along with them. He quickly put a cork in it. We past a group of young people that said they had been in line over 2 hours. Splash Mountain is not worth that it my mind but whatever floats your boat I guess. We waited a total of 8 minutes before getting on a boat. I put on my poncho. I know go ahead and laugh. I can take it. When you are walking around wet and your shoes are squishy and I am dry as a bone then we can talk. I hate being soaking wet. I don't like it unless I am bathing or swimming. I don't mind getting splashed a little and from what I saw the people getting off were more than that. Brian made fun of me, of course, but then proceeded to hand me the Murse so everything would stay dry. We got totally drenched when another raft came down. I got a little wet and that was good enough for me. I was a happy camper.

We left Adventureland to head back over to Tomorrowland. We needed to use our Fast Pass for Space Mountain. We decided to ride one of my favorite rides. We rode the TTA. I love this ride. I like the fact that you can sit and prop your feet up for a few minutes. I like going inside of Space Mountain. I also giggle when I hear "Paging Mr. Morrow". It gets me everytime. We rode and Space Mountain had the lights on. It was really cool to look at. I am glad I get to ride it with the lights off or I might be terrified. This obviously changed our plans for riding Space Mountain. I decided that we needed to head to dinner soon. We had ADR's for Ohana.

We liked Ohana but they give you way too much food. After the wontons, salad and potatoes we were stuffed and the meat hadn't even come yet. I thought they would have to roll me out. I couldn't eat anymore if I tried. It was good just overkill on the food. We headed back to Magic Kingdom.

We headed over to Fantasyland to ride some of the classics. Wow the lines are really long here. It really is stroller city as I have heard it called. We rode It's a Small World. Brian now hates this song. I don't have quite the fondness I used to for this ride. The rehab was nice. Everything was new and bright.

I did notice there was a child splashing everyone near him in our boat. The wetness just continues to follow me. Brian did not like this ride and the song wore on him a bit. Everytime I play it on the piano or sing it I get a look. Okay so he might like Disney, just not everything Disney. Note to Self: In order to save future trips, keep singing and playing of IASW to a minimum. Only use when we really need some annoyance.

We moved on to Mickey’s Philharmagic and we loved it. I thought it was amazing and I loved all of the effects. This is my friend’s (the one I hung out with earlier in the trip) favorite attraction and I see why. I loved all the scents and effects. We went and rode Winnie the Pooh. I took a couple of pictures but I am not sure of what.

We finally got to ride Space Mountain. It was a lot rougher than I remembered. I have some neck problems and I spent the entire ride holding my head. I knew I shouldn't have gone but I married a martyr people and he doesn't go if I don't. I had to warn him way ahead of time of the rides I wouldn't ride. Fortunately for me this worked. He rode them, I waited. And yes I am still bitter about him taking FOREVER on Mission: Space. He knows not to do that again. We decided to stake out a spot for Spectro. We got a great spot on Main Street at the circle.

Coming up: Pictures of Spectro, artful pictures of Epcot, Segway magic and Animal Kingdom!! Oh and when I get home I will take a picture of the Pin and even better the Murse in all its glory!!

Great report and I love the pircutre of your DH with the Murse with all of his pins on it!

I am really enjoying your trip reports, but you are making me very homesick for WDW. ;)

You know, you had me at "Segway." I'm really enjoying the trip report - keep it coming!

so glad i stumbled on your report, it's great!! thanks!!! :sunny:

I will go ahead and post this even though it is just a bunch of pictures. I don’t want the post to be too long. I will have the next 2 days of our trip in the next post.

We left off right before Spectro. I have to admit that I wasn’t that excited about the parade. I couldn’t figure out what everyone was so excited about. I know now. This parade is beautiful. I love all the lights and floats. I didn’t really feel well right before the parade but once it started the Magic definitely took over. I took so many pictures of the parade.

I told you I took a lot of pictures. I thought they turned out really well. It was much prettier live but I love looking at the pictures. We were pretty close to the exit so we raced out as soon as it was over. We got out before the crowds luckily and were back in our room in less than 30 minutes. We loved MK but we felt like we didn’t get to spend enough time there. I think we needed more than a day to explore everything. On our trip in September we are limiting our parks to MK, MGM and AK (the ones we didn’t spend as much time at this trip).
