How To Convince My Mom To...

so it used to be that our trips to disney were sorta spread out;
dec '99 (WDW)
sep '02 (WDW)
nov '04 (WDW)
june '05 (DLR)
oct '07 (WDW)
feb '09 (WDW)

but over time they just seem to be getting closer and closer... and i, um, would like to go again! duh but we're already semi- planning a trip for about march 2011. but who wants to wait until then right? so i've been talking to her and she said that it would be cool if we went right when i get out of school b/cuz i get out sorta early compared to everyone else. so while she was gone today i sorta did some half-hearted pricing and i think that i've got a pretty good thing going here.

so my question to you guys is; how do i actually convince my mom to agree to this? any ideas or stories on your guys' trip plannin would be nice

I can't really help you there. I never have to convince my mom to go. I mention it and she pretty much agrees to it. This is why we're going in January and May in 2010.

It really depends on the reasoning behind not going. We are going Summer of '10 and our last trip was summer of '07. I know we've been emptying our pockets to go this summer and there is really no way to convince your mom if it conflicts with schedules or money issues. Money doesn't grow on trees and if you don't have enough, you don't go.

I'd just put in your opinion and discuss and see where it leads you. Good luck!

I can't get a job during the school year, my parents won't allow me because of clinicals, but I definitely have to get one for summer. I'm looking at the new Rite Aid they're building, but any money I make this summer goes straight to my college fund. Money is tight right now, it's a miracle we can pay all of our bills. Vacations are not in the budget, and if I don't get a job I'll be relying on loans (which are few and far between now) and scholarships for college. I miss vacation but life sucks sometimes.

it all depends on money. me and my sister tried and tried for a trip in early july or april vacay but money wasnt an option. theres also time so now its august. ugh i have to go through a whole school year. you parents are there to decide everything for you it sucks but its the truth.

I don't think she's being greedy, she just loves Disney and wants to go back. Who doesn't? Although, I do think you should try not to get your hopes up and try to stay focus for your 2011 trip, just incase things don't work out :]
