Hi All,

I need your help...

I'm going back to WDW again in October (10/20 through 10/23) and wanted to stay at POFQ (we'll his DQ and TL probably too - only 1 day in the parks). I'm also planning on taking my parents back in January 2006 for about 7-9 days in the parks.

I'm trying to decide between an annual pass or a MYW 10-day ticket - right now, the MYW ticket with all the bells and whistles ends up being cheaper than an annual pass. BUT - that doesn't take into account any room discounts we'd get in October (if any exist) or in January.

Can anyone offer any insight? Are there discounts available in October at this point? With their new system - it's very confusing for me to figure out if I'd save money on rooms (besides trying to use my AAA membership).

Thanks in advance for your help again!!!

Chris :)

I would compare the value of the tickets based on admission to parks only. Room discounts are never a guarantee and I don't feel like buying an AP hoping for a room discount is a good idea.

We have found that sometimes it is cheeper to buy the annual passes. When I saw your post I went and looked at the ticket prices. So lets say you bought a three day pass and added the hopper option for October for two people it would be $364.24 (thats with tax and I live in PA) not sure if that makes a difference or not. Then you look at a nine day with hopper for January it was $487.78 for two. Annual passes wich allready havve the hopper added for two were $841.36. $852.02 would be your total buying seperate for both trips so you save what like $10.66. So it truley is all in what you are looking to do. The first time we had annual passes we used them twice I think. We are hoping to be able to use the ones for this trip (going October 15-23) at least once more. You have to decide whats best for you and alllways there will be people who either agree or dissagree with your decision. I have been reading all the CODE threads and have even wondered if we did the right thing, but we did it.

Either way have a great trip...... :sunny:
