How to book character breakfast when not staying onsite?

We have never been to Disneyland and we are going in July. I would like to book the Lilo and Stitch character breakfast but we are staying at the Carousel. How far in advance can I book when not staying on-site?

I don't believe the Priority Seating (PS) has anything to do with whether you are onsite or offsite, you can (and should!) arrange for PS as early as 60 days in advance. We recently made our PSs for late April.

Thanks - it's been almost 5 years since we were last at WDW so I'm a little rusty at making dining reservations! We can't wait to go!
