How to Board if not at Port Canaveral?

Just wondering how DCL will do the boarding if the ships are not allowed in at Port Canaveral. I have heard that they are taking people by bus to a different port BUT my questions is do we still go to Port Canaveral terminal and do all our checking in and they take us (and our luggage) by bus to the ship and we just show our KTW to actually get on the ship?

I read where Port Canaveral is closed to the ships because of the sand that washed in and they have to dredge it out. Wondering how long that could take.

We are heading out this Saturday and still no word on where we will be leaving from, but if leaving from Port Everglades I believe we can catch a shuttle from the Orlando Airport, Port Canaveral or WDW resort. From what I gather that they did on the other cruises that left from Port Everglades you check in at Port Everglades. From what others this week experienced it didn't go as well as it does at Port Canaveral.

DCL is still optimistic that we will be leaving from PC this Saturday, but it doesn't sound too realistic. Hopefully, by the time of your cruise they will be able to.
