How to attach wreaths to outer windows?

We are trying to finish up our Christmas decorating. I have several wreaths that I would like to attach to the front windows of our house.

My question is - how the heck do you do this??

You could try those suction cup hooks, but they tend to fall down when the weather changes. How about hammering a very small nail or screwing a cup hook up about the window frame, then hanging the wreaths from wire? Twist some wire to make a circular "hook" to the top rear of each wreath, and then just string the wire or regular string, (or even ribbon) through that. Good luck with your project. I'm sure it'll work out fine!

If you can lower your windows from the top you can tie a ribbon to the wreath frame, put it inside the top of the window and close the window on it. Tie it inside to the window lock or just tie a big knot to hold it.

Do a Google search on "Brick Clips". They attach to the bricks of the house without damaging the brick and hold up to about 25 lbs. I just bought 4 of them -- they are available in 3 sizes, all depending on the size of brick.

I would try the Command strips made by 3m. Some of them come packaged with hooks. I use these strip with all of my decorations that need to be attached to the mantle or a wall. After Christmas, they pull off easily and don't leave any marks.
