On our trip, we met a wonderful CM in the Disney Animation Studios. He traded pin's with my daughter and gave her a CM Tinkerbell pin as an extra. He also gave her one to give away at the park so she could "share the magic". He was so kind and really took the time to talk with and make my daughter feel really special. Is there any where I can email or call so that his higher up knows what a great job he is doing?? I did leave a picture and card for the CM with someone at the Animation Studios who knew him personally... but I wanted to do a bit more. Thoughts? Any CM's here who can help? Albort??

Thanks:)

mail/things to City Hall with the name of the CM and location. Im sure City Hall will forward it to that person's department.

Tinkerbell Pin, i remember those, we use to give that out too. Pick someone, give them one, tell them to share the magic and give another so they can give to another person. I wonder where the rest of those pins are. :\

Doesn't it just make your trip that much more special when a CM goes out of their way and does something awsome?! We had an awsome CM from PFF (YaY Barbie) on our trip in October. When I talked to City Hall they mentioned going on the Disneyland website and email our experience in. I did that and got a reply from someone at Disney. They appreciate hearing when they have a satisfied "customer" (ha, ha) Hope this helps and glad you had a great time on your trip.

CM's who go out of their way are awsome! My DD13 wanted to try trading pins for the first time lasat year, but she was real shy about it. Finally I talked her into going up to one, so we aproached her and inquired about pin trading. She spent about 10 minutes with my daughter explaining all the ins and outs of trading. After they were done trading, she gave my DD an extra muppet pin as a gift. After that, my DD wasn't affraid to trade with the CM's any more. Unfortunately I never got her name. Thank you who ever you were!!!:thumbsup2

yep. It really did make our trip a little more special:) After he gave her the pins, I said "thank you, that really made her day!" we ran into him a little later at Turtle Talk with Crush (which by the way, is not really worth the wait) and he came up to me with tears in his eyes and said "thank you for that nice complement earlier, I love my job and if I could explain my "perfect" day... this would be it."

Whenever you have a really great and/or bad cast member you can fill out a form about it at City Hall.

When I was there yesterday a woman was complaining about Jack Sparrow! she was saying he was rude and nasty to their family. The family right beside them were filling out a form complimenting someone at the pirates ride, so I would guess you can do both there and it will get to the right department?

From what I hear each time a cast member gets a compliment from a guest they hear about it directly and usually send a thank you post card to the guest that left the nice comment. So if a cast member is especially awesome make sure to leave a comment for them at guest relations!! :)

We left nice comments for 4 CMs on my last trip. They were all great. One was a hilarious JC skipper (Hector). One was our funny Blue Bayou waiter (Tim). Another was a really nice CM at Matterhorn who we chatted with while eating ice cream and then he let us go to the front of the line (Kevin). And the other was just a really funny CM that we talked with and met at Soarin and then saw again at Aladdin (Erik).

Trust me, if you go to City Hall and fill out a complaint or compliment, the CM and their supervisor is notified that day. And it goes into their file. DD has had both. Fortunately, many more praises than complaints. But Disneyland is really big on customer service and they do acknowledge every single guest who has something to say. And since the CM's are notified, they usually know who it was and it will make their day, or their week. :cloud9:

So, if one did not stop by City Hall while they were at DL... how would one contact City Hall?? Can I just call DL?? It seems you can only call a reservation number. I tried to google an inside DL number... but came up with nothing. Ideas???

Quite a few years ago we were lucky enough to get annual passes and make 4 trips to Disneyland in one year. The first trip we met a wonderful Snow White and Princess Aurora. When we returned a few months later these same two princesses were in the park and they remembered my daughters from before. It was just some off hand comment like "I see my two little friends are back to see me. You must have had lots of fun last time you were here." I took photos of the girls with the princesses and made a point to mail them to Disneyland Resort with a note saying how wonderful the made our trip. Just before our next trip, the girls recieved a black and white photo of all the princesses together and it was 'autographed' with each of thier names on it. During our third trip we again saw these same ladies and this time Princess Aurora looked at the girls and said "Ashley and Allyson I have missed you so much." I stood there in shock (tears in my eyes). That princess sees thousands of little kids and she remembered mine. Needless to say we again wrote to Disney (sending photo's) to tell them how wonderful these princesses were. After our third trip we received a hand written letter from Snow White on the most beautiful paper. She had a little story for the girls about the dwarfs. We still treasure these trinkets from Disneyland.

The address we have sent our Thank yous to in the past is
Disneyland Resort
P.O. Box 3232
Anaheim, CA 92803-3232

Hopefully it still a current PO box for them and keep your eyes on the mailbox for their repsonse.
