Shelby is just over 39 inches now and needs to get to 40 by January, she turns four in October so I was just wondering what are the chances that she will reach her goal!?!? How tall were your kids at 4 years old?

She has just asked me to find a video of "the SAW ride" :scared1: she means Soarin :lmao: on You Tube, she is a bit of an adrenalin junkie in training so I know that she will love Soarin!

DD has asked for these smilies to be added :goodvibes :cloud9::sad1:pirate:

Ebony, my dd, rode all the 40" rides 6 weeks before her 3rd birthday. She is now 4 1/2 and she is about 48". She is very tall for her age though.

I would think that she would grow an inch or two in 6 months

I just measured my little cousin so we could find out what rides she can go on and she is just over 43" (and will also turn 4 in October). We expect she will hit the 44" by August (and she is still upset that she is still too short for the Mummy). I think your DD will make it. HTH.

I don't think you will have a problem. My DD is over 40" (she is 5 in Oct) but she is quite small for her age.

My DD is 4 (her birthday was earlier this month) and she is 39.5" We go in a few weeks but as she does not like fast or wild rides I am not bothered if she makes the extra half inch!

I've been thinking about this with my daughter too. She's just over 38" right now and we go in October. Hoping she grows a little more by then! lol She turns 4 in November, 2 weeks after we come back.

Thanks for all of your replies, I hope that she makes it as she loves the fast rides. I los count of the amount of times that she went on Shamu Express at Sea World in january! There are so many good rides that they can go on when they get to 40 inches!

My three year old (who turns four in November) is 40" with a good pair of shoes on. I seriously doubt he's going to get over the hump in the next 48 hours...:sad2:

I doubt my 7 year old will go on the rides that have a minimum height restriction of 40" :confused3:scared1:

My youngest made the 40" about a month before his 4th birthday and i remember my other DS being on the nose exactly at 3 1/2, some he got on, others he didnt depending on the stick. So I would say your chances are really good. Small warning: do not take them on Dinosaur first to test them, not that i did that or anything:cool1: They loved Test Track, Big Thunder and Splash the best:goodvibes

When my DD was just a fraction off I put her in trainers rather than the really flat sandals they wear at that age-it helps a little bit-good luck.:cutie:

DS is tall for his age and when we went last time in 06 he was a few weeks off turning 4. He was fine for all the rides but was literally the side of your hand width away from Expedition Everest. As he was so polite to the CM at the entrance the CM stamped his hand and let him ride it. He was scared to to death :scared1: on the ride but wanted to ride it again after it was over
