How Strict Is Check Out Time For Hyatt Regency?

Hi, there! My husband and I plan on staying here the morning of our cruise (a red-eye flight), but we were curious as to just how strict they were about the check-out time-- is someone going to come barging in at 11 am on the dot, or will they automatically charge us? Just curious, we'd like to try and sleep as long as we can. Thanks!

If you aren't out you are subject to a second night charge. Since they charge for a day room I expect they might be fairly strict. I would just set up a late check out and pay.

Thanks for the reply. It's just easier to check out at 11 than to pay extra for what would probably be one-half hour, lol.

When I stayed at the HYATT MCO .. I had the Chase Hyatt Credit Card.

one of the Benefits of having that card is .. I was a Hyatt *Gold* Member

With the Gold status .. I asked if I could have a late check out.

The reply was "yes" what time would you like .. I said 3pm and it was no problem.

My friend was arriving MCO at 4pm .. so that worked out well.

I used one of the free nights .. that I got with the Credit Card .. for that Reservation.

I could have used the free night at a better location (Beach)

But I chose the MCO Hyatt .. for the convenience.

Inquire the day before checkout as to available for late checkout

They may tell you to call back later after housekeeping is consulted

Another option is charge for day rate or partial daily charge, never hurts. To ask
