We made the mistake of booking our rental car through priceline name your own price and were planning on coming into MCO at 6:30PM but decided to change the flight to an earlier one and are now getting in at 9:45am. will I have an issue getting my car at that time? Just trying to figure out if I should eat the cost of the priceline and book through someone else so I know I get my car when I get there.

Yes, you probably will have an issue getting a car if you arrive 9 hours earlier than it was reserved for. :car:

Is there no way to change this? Can you call the rental company?

Unfortunately rental cars booked with Priceline are not changeable even if you call the rental company. Your best option would be as long as you are staying at a WDW resort, is to take the DME to your resort and then ride the DME back to the airport to pick up your rental car at the time you have it booked for.

I have done it...

Here's what I suggest. ONce you get in go to the rental car company and tell them "I am here" They will tell you how much it's going to "add" to your rental for the extra day you just got. Don't expect the "Priceline" rate but I got an extra day for about $40 with Budget once.

If you PL rental was dirt cheap you could book a back up someplace in case company A won't work with you but I would try just showing up and seeing what you can do (And I am not normally a fan of that but with a Priceline rental you don't have a lot of good options)

I agree with OrangeCountyCommuter. If it were me, I'd just show up at the rental desk, tell them my flight was changed (no need for details) and pick up the car. You might or might not have a rate change.

I've done it too! And I agree with those that say to just show up at the rental counter and find out the options for adding the time when you get there. In my case they just charged me the extra day at the current going rate, which was about $30. It was worth it to me to not have to leave and come back at the appointed time.

Have you tried calling Priceline customer service? I have never used Priceline but have used Orbitz and Expedia. Their customer service is wonderful and they have always helped me; even in non-refundable situations. I am sure that Priceline would do the same. And if the representative cannot assist you, ask to speak to their supervisor. But remember to be nice and not to lose your temper. As being rude will not get you anywhere.
