How soon should I book for Food and Wine 2007?

I've been reading a lot of the threads about the problems people are having in booking a DVC reservation during the time of the Epcot F&W Festival...just how far in advance do you all recommend booking? We plan to go next year, probably one of the last two weeks of the Festival, and we usually stay in a one bedroom at BWV. Do I really need to book 11 months out to get what I want?

Yes, you do. Maybe 10 moths out would do it, but I wouldn't wait past that.

Do you want a standard view? Then yes day by day at 11 months.

I probably booked my 1 BR BCV about 9 months out this year and got what I wanted.

Just to give you an idea of room availabilty (or lack of). We called MS today for Nov 10 thru 14, which is the last weekend of the F&W festival. There was nothing available at VWL, BCV or VB. There was a one bedroom at BWV for Friday night only. There was a studio availble for Friday night only. And SSR only had a Studio for Sun and Mon nights!

We expected BCV and BWV to be booked, but not VB, SSR and OKW. We really weren't sure about VWL, wether it would be available or not.

I would book as soon as you know when you want to go. However, the last four years we have booked about 7 months before and always had BWV standard view.

Since you know when you want to go and where you want to stay, I would book it as soon as you can.

I'm one of the folks who had trouble getting anything for this Oct. They had no studios at all .. and only a day here and there in a one bedroom at BWV and VWL. So .. we are staying at the YC. I know .. lots of points .. but what the hey .. we will be close to Epcot and the food .. and wine!
