How Should Crocs Fit?

Am thinking of buying my first pair. When I try them on, how should they fit? How loose or close-fitting should they be?

Thanks for the input.

LOL -- I was just coming to post this very question. I just received my first pair today -- Caymans. However, my big toe just touches the top of the shoe. Does that mean I should get the bigger size? I normally wear size 8.

Thanks :)

Everyone on these boards and the shoe guy at Dick's told me loosey-goosey...your foot should not touch at all. But, I guess ultimately it is up to you to determine how they feel and if they are comfortable FOR YOU. :thumbsup2

I just got the caymen crocs from Dick's. I think they are to big. I have at least 1/2 inch in front of my toes & behind my heal. Not just loosey goosey , down right sloppy. The heal strap doesn't even come close to my heal. I ordered the mans size 12 ( I have a hugh foot) So today i went to my Hallmark store where they sell crocs to see if the size 11 would be better. Their crocs were sized differently. Multi sized on each croc like 10/11 W 12/13 M. Why I wonder id the sizing not uniform? the funny thing is the ones that say they are Mens size 12/13 fit me great! I wonder if I can take my online crocs from dicks to a brick & morter dicks to maybe do an exchange.

PP, ^^^, sounds like you may have been trying on Beach Crocs at the Hallmark store, which are multi-sized and very similar to Cayman Crocs. You should have gotten a return address label from Dick's with your Crocs that will allow you to return them for free. If you can't wait that long, I *think* you can return to a brick and mortar store...call first to check...otherwise, call online customer service if you don't have the return address label to see if they'll send you a PDF of one.

You are very right. the beach crocs were exactly what I was trying on. I did get the free return shipping , but I don't want to return them before I can find out for sure if the 11 is what I need or not. I am just torn about these being to big or not. I still have 6 weeks till the World so hopefully I will get them figured out before that. thought about trying to shrink them , but was afraid. I did get a couple of Disney Jibbitz at hallmark:)

Just bought my Disney crocs.

I usually wear a women's size 7 1/2 or 8. I bought the size small W 6-7 crocs. At first I thought they might be kind of small, but they have definitely stretched (and I've only worn them 4-5 times).

I think I bought the right size. The M would be WAY too big!

I bought 2 pairs of crocs. The Disney ones are sized for W 10-11. My toes just barely touch with the heal strap on, so I plan on wearing it up if it bugs me too much. Next I bought a lime green pair of Cayman in size 10. My toes touch a bit more in those. I really think the 11's will be way to big though. Do crocs really stretch? I just don't know if I should return the green ones or not.
