How rough of a ride is Matterhorn for kids?

This was my daugher's FAVORITE ride as a 6-9 year old. It really is easier on the kids.

Note that there are rules regarding under 7's riding - EACH child under 7 must be accompanied by a person 14 years or older. I got stuck once having stood in line alone with two 6 year olds, and we weren't allowed to ride once we got to the bobsleds. (This was extremely disappointing for the kids BUT wonderful cast member gave us a generic fastpass to use elsewhere.)

I can do it once a day if I lean forward a bit. I think the ride bothers adults more than kids. As a PP said, it's most like Disney WORLD's Space Mountain in setup/bumpiness. Plus abominable snowmen! If you and child can handle that you will be fine.
