How realistic and even possible is this? 'Ohana ADR for the day we arrive.

Our arrival flight is scheduled to touchdown in Orlando at 6:40 pm and I was able to secure a ADR for 'Ohana at 9:35pm that very evening. My hope is that we would board the ME to POR and check in then hop the bus to the polynesian for 'Ohana. Is this realistic or even possible? Thanks.

Not terribly realistic. You should allow for three hours between landing, checking in at a resort and getting to your first park/restaurant. And that's if everything goes according to plan. You have no idea how long it will take to deplane, or if your flight will be delayed.

A couple of other things working against you: Your ADR is 25 minutes before 'Ohana stops seating people, so it leaves you with virtually no cushion to be late. Also, 'Ohana is a credit card guaranteed restaurant, meaning they will charge you $10 per person if you miss the ADR.

I'd try for 'Ohana on a different night and maybe either eat at your resort or at a park the first night.

I agree- I think the odds are pretty slim that you'd make this. The one time we did DME- it was close to 3 hours from landing to being checked into our hotel. On top of that- you can't get the bus directly to the Poly...so you'd have to take a bus to MK and then either take the boat launch or monorail around to get there. Maybe you'll be able to work it in on a different night. :goodvibes

Thank you so much for the reality check! Heheehee.... It's so hard to get into 'Ohana. I will keep checking for a different night. :)

Sorry- I was really hoping to come up with some brilliant way to make it work- but it would be really tough to pull this off even if things are running like clockwork. I've had really good luck w/upgrading 'Ohana dates and times in the past...especially in those last couple of weeks before travel. Sure, I've been known to check 100+ times per day :lmao: if I really want the adr, but hey- it works. :thumbsup2 So, just keep trying...you never know when something will open up for a better time/day. :goodvibes

Also you can't hop a bus to Poly. You'll have to go to MK and take the monorail over.
