How old was your mother when she gave birth to you?

My mom was 38 when she had me. I was the sixth child, she died when I was 38. The other five kids were born when she was 21, 24, 27, 29, and 31. Can ya tell I was the 'surprise.'

My mom was 30 when I was born. I am the third child and the baby of the family. My brothers were born when she was 21 and 23.

My mom was 34 when she had me and 36 when she had my brother.

She had first gotten married at 19 and after seven years that husband walked out on her to move to Arizona. My dad and her were married for seven years before they had me. She always said she wanted a child earlier but it just didn't happen until then.

My dad was 43 when I was born.

I was 25 when I had my DD, my mom was 25 when she had me, my grandmother was 25 when she had my mom and my great-grandmother was 25 when she had my grandmother.

I've been trying to research my genealogy to see how far back this trend goes, but I can't get any further than my great-grandmother. Wish I would have had more conversations with my grandmother about my family before she passed away a few months ago.

My mother married at 17 and had me at 18. Dad was 24. She went on to have my DB1 at 19, DB2 at 21 and DB3 at 22.

By the time she was 35 and I was 18 she had had enough and she took off. None of us have seen or heard from her since.

I learned from her lesson and had my DD at 37!

My mom was 21 and I am an only child - she had major surgery after me and could not have more children, though I know she would have liked more.

I was 24 with DD and 26 with DS - at the time the doctors considered me "older" for having a 1st baby!

DD was 36 with her first - wish she had been younger, but she is a wonderful mother. She wants more but will be 38 in March and who knows who old she will be with the next baby. I worry about her being older with a second baby, but lots of women have babies at that age now and have healthy pregnancies and babies.

My mom was 33 when she had me and 29 when she had my brother. My parents were married 10 years before they us. My mom always tells me she wasn't supposed to be able to give birth after my brother and calls me a "miracle", I just say it's a nice way of saying I was an oops baby.
